Student Drop-offs/Pick-ups 

Staff will be available to receive students from and release them to their approved parent or guardian at the designated start and end times of each day. Should parents require an earlier drop-off or later pick-up due to scheduling conflicts, arrangements must be made in advance with Milica Sibinovic/NTPS. Please note that additional charges will apply for before or after-school care. 

Group Collab (Collaboration)

Students from all grade levels will gather in our Multipurpose Room (MPR), also known as our lunch hall, to collaborate on a variety of engaging activities designed for daily enrichment.

Curriculum 

Students will adhere to the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) curriculum, ensuring alignment with national academic standards. This curriculum will incorporate a diverse range of strategies, blending both traditional and modern approaches to learning. 

Serbian Language 

We take immense pride in offering Serbian Language studies, providing our students with a meaningful opportunity to deepen their connection to our rich heritage and cultural roots.

Serbian Orthodox Religious Studies 

We also take great pride in the opportunity to educate future generations about their religious heritage. By exploring history and participating in visiting the church (on-site/same facility) during significant holidays, students gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of their faith and traditions and how we became the people we are today. 

 PE (Physical Education)

In addition to our morning stretching/exercising routine and afternoon recess, we will offer regular physical education which can take place both outdoors and in the gym at our church's cultural center.

Fine Arts

Music, art, and home economics will be consistently integrated into the students' schedules. This approach is essential for addressing their foundational learning needs within both the home and the broader community while fostering the growth of their creative abilities. 

Lunch/Recess

Our lunch program provides a healthy and diverse alternative to the American federal student lunch system. Each meal is freshly prepared daily and crafted by European culinary experts, ensuring a homemade quality that sets us apart.

Students are offered indoor and outdoor play daily to ensure time is spent not only exercising the mind, but also the body.
